The Sporting News has jumped on the Pittsburgh bandwagon. They just announced that Pittsburgh has been named their #1 sports city in North America. I guess having the NFL and NHL champs in town doesn’t hurt. It’s a pretty impressive award considering Pittsburgh has the worst franchise in MLB history with the Pirates.

Pittsburgh’s vacancy rate for office space has dropped from 18.7% (first quarter) to 18.2% (second quarter), according to GVA Oxford.

Pittsburgh is even loved by the British. The Economist magazine has named Pittsburgh the most livable city in the U.S. and 29th in the World. Vancouver, B.C. topped the list.
